Dr Trishan Pillay

I am a Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeon working both in Private practice and limited Public service. My practice is located in the vibrant holiday town of Ballito on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal at Netcare’s Alberlito Hospital as well as Mediclinic Victoria Hospital in Tongaat. I am also an honorary lecturer in Plastic surgery at the University of KZN and form part of the Cranio-facial team.

I qualified as a Medical Doctor at the University of Witwatersrand and completed my specialist degree as a Plastic Surgeon with the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine (UKZN) training at Inkosi Albert Luthuli hospital. I received my fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive from the College of Medicine of South Africa and also obtained a Master of medicine degree (MMED) in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery from the University of KZN.

I previously worked as a consultant in the Department of Plastic surgery in Inkosi Albert Luthuli. I still work as a part time consultant in the Department forming part of the Cranio-facial team.
