ABOUT
Dr Jooste studied medicine at the University of Pretoria and obtained his degree in 1992. He did his internship at Jubilee Hospital outside Hammanskraal, before working as an assistant in Carltonville and Pretoria.
In 1995 he moved to Witbank where he practiced until 2013 when he bought the practice of dr Heunis in Gordon’s Bay.
His areas of interest includes Travel Medicine, Cancer and Palliative Care and Pain Management. He completed courses in all of these fields and is passionate about expanding his knowledge further to improve his competence as an all round family practitioner
Services includes :
- Treatment of day to day acute illnesses like gastro-enteritis, colds, injuries, backache, etc..
- General examinations for 6 monthly repeat scripts of chronic illnesses like Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, High Cholesterol, Atrial Fibrillation, Hypothyroidism, Asthma, etc..
- Cryotherapy or freezing of skin lesions using a CryoPro apparatus.
- Autherisation of skin lesions under local anaesthetic.
- Suturing of lacerations
