ABOUT
Jenny Meyer, married Jenny Ford, is a registered dietitian working in her own private practice; Jenny Meyer Dietitians. She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Association for Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA).
Jenny is passionate about health, wellness and nutrition and is committed to empowering her clients with knowledge and resources and providing them with ongoing motivation to help them to reach their goals. She strives to keep up to date with the latest scientific information and dietary trends and translates these into practical, realistic nutrition advice which can be adopted as a lifestyle approach.
She aims to work with her clients in simplifying 'nutrition noise', providing individualized nutrition education and advice, developing personalized eating plans and providing ongoing support and motivation for a range of age groups and conditions. Jenny has also completed the Foundations in Nutrigenomics Course, which allows her to provide personalised diet and lifestyle recommendations based on results from DNA tests, to optimize health and wellness.
She also does corporate work including but not limited to, Medico-Legal assessments and reports, menu development, recipe analysis, group wellness days involving interactive nutrition stands and group presentations, group weight loss programs, development of nutrition related materials and reviewing and writing literature reviews.
Her media related work includes TV and radio interviews and appearances and content for consumer articles for various magazines, newspapers and publications.
